How Do I Uninstall Avast Antivirus From Windows 10/8/7?
Method 1. Remove Avast Antivirus from Add/Remove Programs
Step 1. Click Start menu and type “Control Panel” in the search box. Then click Control Panel from the results.
Step 2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.
Step 3. Locate Avast Antivirus and then right-click it and select Uninstall.
Step 4. When the Avast Setup window opens, click on “Uninstall” button.
Note: When prompted confirm the uninstall process is a legitimate action, click on “Yes” to make a confirmation.

Step 2. Start your Windows in Safe Mode.
Step 3. Double-click the avastclear.exe file to launch the uninstall utility.
Step 4. Select your Avast Antivirus installation folder. The default one is C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast
and select the version you have installed.
Step 5. Click on Uninstall button.
