Step 1. To begin, download and install Steam on your PC. Steam is an online platform from game developer Valve where you can play, create, buy and discuss PC games.

Step 2. Launch the Steam client and then login with your Steam account
Notes: If you don’t have a Steam account yet, you need to create it. The account is required for storing your games, downloading additional content, communication with the local community and more.
Step 3. Now install Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam.
In the Steam client, navigate to Store. Type “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” in Store Search field. Find the game in the right click menu.
Scroll down and click PLAY GAME near the Buy Counter-Strike: Global Offensive button on the display.
Change the installation path and installation settings. Click Next.
Install the game.
You have successfully installed Counter-Strike:Global Offensive on Steam.
Step 4. In the Library, choose Counter-Strike:Global Offensive. Click the PLAY blue button.
Launch Parameters CS:GO
The game settings that you can’t adjust in the game, but can be configured in this menu. You can set these parameters entering the Properties and then Set the Launch Parameters item of the menu that appears after your right click on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

• -high – running the game with high priority;
• -low – running the game with low priority;
• -heapsize 262144 – allocates 512MB of RAM to the game;
• -heapsize 524288 – allocates 1GB of RAM to the game;
• -heapsize 1048576 – allocates 2GB of RAM to the game;
• -freq *** – sets the monitor refresh rate (refresh rate value instead of asterisks);
• -console – opens a developer console;
• +*** – for an automatic command execution on the game launch.
