How to fix Outlook not working in Windows 10/11

This issue on your PC sometimes can be caused by corruption in default email clients. The problem will be resolved by simply removing and re-registering your Outlook account.

Fix 1 – Repair Office

1 – Lookup APPWIZ.CPL in the Search box.

2 – From your search result, click on APPWIZ.CPL 

3 – Navigate Your Office depending on the version you set up and to select it, click on it once

4 – Click the Change button

5 – Select Quick repair and click the Repair button.

Fix 1 – Start Outlook in safe mode

You can start Outlook without third-party add-ons interfering with safe mode on.

  1. Select “Run” from the “Right-Click” menu on the Windows icon.

  1. Search the “SCANPST” executable file in the directory.
  2. Double click on it to start the operation of the tool on your device.
  3. Click “Browse“ button on the Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair Tool screen.
  4. Choose the “Outlook Files” file in your “Documents” folder
  5. The pst file connected to your account can be found among the Outlook Files. Click on “Open“ after selecting it
  6. Click “Start” button to get the scanning process begun

Fix 7 – Run SFC scan

  1. Hit the Windows key+R keys at the same time
  2. Put in this code and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter keys together.
  3. Copy-paste the code to run the scan. After that, press Enter to start scanning

SFC scan will start as commanded.
