FIX 1. General Suggestions

– Reboot the machine and see if that makes the problem go away.

– If you are using a pair of wired headphones, USB or jack, then disconnect them and reconnect them back in when you receive the “Audio renderer error. Please restart your computer” message.

FIX 3. Reset/Rollback/Update your audio device

3b. To rollback your driver:

– Click on Roll Back Driver button and then follow the on-screen instructions.

3c. For updating the driver:

– Select Update driver.
– Select on Search automatically for updated driver software.


– Wait for the process to complete.

4. Finally, reboot your system and try playing the YouTube videos again in your browser.

FIX 4. Change the sound format
