Installation of Kawaks in Windows 10/8/7:
Kawaks is a standalone application thus it does not have an install wizard. Installation of Kawaks is simple and easy: using WinRAR\7-Zip to extract Kawaks from its zip file.
Step 1. To begin, download the latest version of Kawaks 1.65 from this source.
Step 2. After you download, unzip WinKawaks.zip by using WinRAR or 7-ZIP.
Notes: Kawaks must be located in a common folder on your Windows PC. We would recommend you create a folder on your desktop.
Step 3. Double-click on the WinKawaks.EXE file to run Kawaks. After that, the WinKawaks main window will pop up as shown below:

In order to play any game with Kawaks, you will need the proper ROM zips.
Loading a game:
1. To begin, move your arcade ROMs into Kawaks’s ROMs folder.
Important: Don’t rename or unzip the zip file of an arcade ROM.
2. Kawaks need to scan your ROMs folder for new games. To do that, click File > select Load game.
3. Then, tick the bullet on Only Available and click on Scan for new. After that, the WinKawaks will scan the following folders for supported roms:
- roms
- roms/neogeo
- roms/cps1
- roms/cps2
Hence, you need to put ROMs into one of the above folders, WinKawaks will detect it.
4, Then click the Rescan all button, WinKawaks will rescan all available ROMs.
5. Next, your list of available games should occur as shown below:
