4. In the System Settings window, press Tab on your keyboard until the “Change settings that are currently unavailable” is highlighted. Press Enter on your keyboard to select it.
5. Uncheck the box for Turn on fast startup (recommended). Save changes and exit.
6. Restart your system.
FIX 3. Reinstall your mouse driver

If the wireless mouse driver has developed a fault, your wireless mouse may stop working. To fix it:
1. Press Windows Key + R then type “devmgmt.msc” in the Run dialog box. Click OK to open Device Manager.
2. When the Device Manager window opens, locate “Mice and other pointing device” and expand it.
3. Find your wireless mouse, highlight it and press Delete on your keyboard. When prompted to confirm, press Enter to uninstall your mouse driver on your system.
4. Reboot your computer after the uninstall. If the issue persists, it’s likely that your mouse driver is outdated, rather than faulty, and you should try FIX 4 below.
FIX 4. Update your mouse driver

If you’re using the wrong or outdated driver so your wireless mouse is not working. To fix this issue, you should update your wireless mouse driver.
There are two methods you can get the right drivers for your wireless mouse: manually or automatically.
Manually update drivers
You can update your wireless mouse driver manually via Device Manager.
1. Open Device Manager.
2. In Device Manager, browse the list of devices until you see the Mice and other pointing device option and expand it.
3. Locate your wireless mouse, right-click it, and select Update Driver.
4. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Wait while Windows finds a new driver and installs it.
5. Restart your system and check if your wireless mouse works.
