How To Download and Install Java JDK in Windows 11/10
1. To begin, visit this source to download Java. Then simply click on JDK Download under Oracle JDK.
2. This will be redirected to Java SE Development Kit 16.0.2 page. Scroll down and locate Windows x64 Installer. Simply click on jdk-16.0.2_windows-x64_bin.exe to download JDK.
3. Next, accept the Oracle Technology Network License Agreement for Oracle Java SE. Then click on Download JDK and it will start downloading your JDK.
4. Once the download is completed, double click the jdk-16.0.2_windows-x64_bin.exe file to install Java JDK. The Java Installation Setup wizard will pop up. Now just simply click on Next.
5. After installing Java, navigate to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-16.0.2\bin. Copy this file path.
6. Next, find Environment Variables in your windows search and select on Edit System Environment Variables. The System Properties window will open. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
7. Under System variables click on Path and then click on Edit…
8. Under Edit Environment Variable, click on Edit Text
9. The Edit System Variable window open up. Under this Variable Value just go to the end of it and type “B” and then simply paste the JDK installed complete path i.e “C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-16.0.2\bin”
10. After setting environment variable, you need to set JAVA Home. Click on New.
11. Type a Variable name as “JAVA_HOME_ENVIRONMENT” and then paste the JDK installed directory up to 16.0.2. Click OK.
You have successfully installed Java in Windows 10.
