1. Press Windows Key + R then type “devmgmt.msc” in the Run dialog box. Click OK to open Device Manager.
2. In the Device Manager window, expand Network adapters sections. From the drop-down right-click the adapter which you are using, and click Properties.
3. Then, go to the Power Management tab, uncheck the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” option. Click OK.
4. Exit Device Manager window.
5. Now, you have to open Power Options. Here are the steps:
– To do that, right-click on Start menu button and click Power Options.
– In Power Options, click on Additional power settings under Related settings.
– Next, choose High performance and click on Change plan settings.
– In the Edit Plan Settings window, click Change advanced power settings.
6. In the Power Options window, select “Wireless Adapter Settings” to expand it and then select “Power Saving Mode” to expand it again.
7. After that, select “On battery:” and set it to “Maximum performance” from the drop-down list. Set “Plugged in:” to “Maximum Performance” also. Click Apply > OK to save the changes.
8. Restart your system.
