Step 1. To begin, install VMware Workstation 15 on Windows 10 PC

Step 2. Create a new Virtual machine for Windows 10
When you have installed VMware Workstation Pro on your Windows 10 PC, launch VMware workstation and then create a new virtual machine for Windows 10. Here are the steps to create a new virtual machine.
1. On the home, select on Create A New Virtual Machine.

2. In the welcome wizard of VMware virtual machine, choose “Typical (Recommended)” and click Next.

3. On the next screen, select “I will install the operating system later” because the virtual machine will be created with a blank hard disk and click Next.

4. In this dialog box, choose a guest operating system. There are for the option you have to choose Microsoft Windows and Version 10 x64 and click Next.

5. Then enter a name to the virtual machine and set the location and click Next.

6. Set disk capacity for Windows 10, we think the maximum disk size for Windows 10 should be 20GB, then tick “Store virtual disk a single file“. Click Next.

7. Click Finish to the virtual machine. Then you can install Windows 10.

8. Moving on, you have created the virtual machine settings. In the settings, you have to adjust some changes like increase the Processor, RAM and some more to have better performance.

9. Go to Memory, increase the memory size the maximum size of Memory in VMware for Windows 10 installation should be at least 4 GB.

11. Go to CD/DVD (SATA), tick on Use ISO image file then click Browse…

12. Select the downloaded Windows 10 ISO file and click Open. Click OK.

Step 3. Install Windows 10 on VMware Workstation 15
The installation is really easy and simple, follow the below steps:
1. Choose the created virtual machine and click Power on this virtual machine. Then, press any key to boot into Windows.

2. Now choose your interface Language, Time and currency format, Keyboard and input method. Click Next.

4. Choose the operating system version you want to install. Click Next.

5. Select the box of “I accept the license terms” and click Next.

6. Click “Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced)“.

7. Now you have to create a new drive for Windows 10 installation on VMware Workstation. Click New and then click Apply.

8. After clicking the Apply button, a warning window appears. To ensure that all Windows features work correctly, Windows might create additional partitions for system files, click OK.

9. Now, Drive is created. Click Next to continue.

10. Wait while the installation completes. After the installation completes, the Windows will restart automatically.

Step 4. Get ready Windows 10 for the first Use
1. When the Windows restarted, wait till Windows should get ready. Next, choose your region. Click Yes.
2. Choose your keyboard layout and click Yes.
3. At this step, you have the option to add your second keyboard layout, or you can do this after getting to Windows.
4. Next, we have some important set up to do, it will take some time. And then you have sign method if you have Microsoft account offer that if you don’t then click Domain join instead.
5. Who’s going to use this PC? enter any kind of name and click Next.
6. Create a super memorable password and click Next. Then confirm your password and click Next.
7. Now you have to create security questions for this account. If you forget your password, select 3 security questions and make sure your answers are unforgettable.
8. At this step, don’t do anything just click Accept.
9. Do more across devices with activity history, click Yes.
10. Choose privacy settings for your device, these are the recommended settings don’t do anything, click Accept.
