WARNING: Editing registry incorrectly may cause serious system problems. So we would recommend you back up the registry in case you want to restore it.
Step 1. First, restart your computer. Then sign in to Windows as administrator.
Step 2. Open Device Manager. Locate and expand the category DVD/CD-ROM drives. Right-click on the DVD/CD-ROM device under this category. Select Uninstall, and then reboot your Windows PC.
Step 3. Delete LowerFilters & UpperFilters from the registry
3.1. Open Registry Editor by pressing Windows Key + R then type regedit in Run dialog box.
3.2. Go to the following location by using the navigation pane on the left side:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control > Class
3.3. Once you’ve expanded all the aforementioned folders, locate and click the following registry subkey {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} key.
3.4. From the right-hand window pane, find and delete both the LowerFilters key and the UpperFilters key. If you do not find the LowerFilters key and the UpperFilters key, select all files and delete them all.
3.5. Close the Registry Editor.
Step 4. Reboot your computer and then check to see if the problem resolves.
