How To Fix YouTube Not Working Or Loading on Chrome
Method 1. Close and restart Chrome using the Task Manager
If you are not sure how to close Chrome in Task Manager, follow these steps below.
Step 1. To begin, press the CTRL + SHIFT + ESC button combinations to open the Task Manager.
Step 2. From the list of tasks, find Google Chrome and click on the End Task button.
Step 3. Restart Google Chrome and check to see if you can access YouTube on Chrome now.
Method 2. Disable Hardware Acceleration
If Youtube not loading on Chrome, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Google Chrome. To configure Settings in Chrome, follow steps below:
Step 1. Open Chrome browser and click on three dots button on the top right corner (the Menu button). Then select Settings.
Step 2. After the Settings page pops up, scroll down and click on the button that is labeled as Advanced.
Step 3. Under the System section, uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
Step 4. Restart your Chrome browser and then check if your error is fixed or not.

Method 3. Clear Chrome Browser Data

Step 1. First, open Google Chrome and click on the Menu button.

The extensions and toolbars installed on your browser can be the cause. Hence, in order to fix that, try to disable or remove these extensions and toolbars.
Step 1. Open Chrome browser.
Step 2. In the address bar, type chrome://extensions press Enter to access Settings in Chrome.
Step 3. You will be able to enable, disable or delete the browser extension. Now you need to disable or remove these extensions and toolbars.
Step 4. Restart Chrome and check to see if the YouTube video plays.
Method 5. Update the Graphics Card Drivers
Step 1. Visit the website of your manufacturers like Intel, AMD or NVIDIA.
