Notes: Make sure that .net framework 3.5 and VC++2015 is required to run the executable on Windows.
Installation instructions for PCSX4 emulator:
1. To begin, download the PCSX4 for Windows.
2. Extract .zip file and run PCSX4 as “Admin”.
3. Extract and copy .pdix to your PCSX4 folder.
Visit this tutorial to know how to extract .pdix. After extraction copy .pdix file from your flash drive to directory: pcsx4 > _pdix
4. Now, you need to create PCSX4 account. Go to PCSX4 > Manage PCSC4 account > Register, Log-in and link your PDIX to the account.
PDIX validator will check the integrity of your .pdix and link it to your account if it turns out to be valid. Validated .pdix will show up in My account > My devices.
5. Insert PS4 game disc into your drive.
6. Install game cache from: Emulation > Install game cache form BD-ROM, Choose disk drive, cache folder and click on “Install game cache”.
7. Launch your game by clicking “Emulation > Open saved cache” and choose one of your previously saved game.
Notes: you may need to configure audio, graphics, controller config. etc. according to your hardware.
System and hardware requirements:
If you want to download and install PCSX4 on Windows PC, make sure your PC meets minimum system requirements:
- Only 64bit Windows 7, 8.1, 10 is supported. Windows users need to install .net framework 3.5, VC++2015 & DirectX 11.1 platform update KB2670838-x64 if it’s not already installed.
- CPU: Intel Ci7 (4Core)
- RAM: 4GB is a minimum requirement for PCSX4 but 6GB or more is recommended.
- Your PC must have 8GB of disk space available
- Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 2GB Graphic 128Bit
